Die drei DJs und Turntablists Sight, M-Tone und Fisherman (Phonosapiens) werden bestimmt noch nicht jedem ein Begriff sein. Jedenfalls nicht jedem, der sich nicht eingängig mit der Geschichte der Plattendrehkunst in der Alpenrepublik auseinander gesetzt hat. Spätestens seit M-Tone 2008 den Titel des IDA Champions in der Technical Category für sich beanspruchen konnte, ist auf jeden Fall ein Schritt in Richtung Öffentlichkeit gelungen. Ganz im Kontrast zu den endlosen Stunden im Studio zwischen schweren Rauchschwaden und den drehenden Stahlrädern, die in einem Turntablism-Album der besonderen Sorte gipfelten. Das Talent zur harmonischen Verarbeitung von Samples aus allerwelt in mühevoller Handarbeit erkannte nicht zuletzt Buzz von den Waxolutionists während des Masteringprozesses im Buzzment-Studio und holte die drei Tiroler an Bord der Supercity-Crew. Nun stehen die Phonos in den Startlöchern und warten nur darauf von den letzten Anhängern dieser einzigartigen Kunst des Cutten und Jugglens entdeckt zu werden.
