wie jedes jahr im märz geht´s im zillertal / mayrhofen bei den aesthetikern mal wieder ordentlich zur sache!
our very own dj buzz ist morgen dienstag mit cosmic war of the planets zu gast, mit im gepäck auch herr dorian concept, der auch seine eigene show zum besten geben wird und auch partner in crime the clonious mitgenommen hat. texta spielt live mit sk invitational, abby lee tee und feux sind auflegend zu gast, staumtisch und hinterland rappenderweise das wetter wird schön, schnee gibts auch genug, das scottys hat seine alk vorräte hoffentlich aufgestockt und eigentlich bleibt nur zu sagen - wer in der nähe ist / wohnt oder eine woche / wochenende boarden gehen will, sollte sich den wängltängl 2011 zu gemüte führen! details online und jetzt film ab!

On July 3rd, Dj Buzz´ new baby drops on Personal Records!
“Cosmic War Of The Planets” is a thrilling audio / video kinda thing, that will blow your ears and eyes!
From an old italo - us science fiction movie, Buzz seperated audio and video samples in order to give the movie as well as the music a new look and feel.
The result is a future classic, if by now you still don´t know what we´re talking about, have a look at the first video edit and single release “Stardust“, featuring Detroit´s finest Frank Nitty & viennese future funk expert Dorian Concept.

Guess what happens, if Captain Future hooks up with Hexstatic, Madlib and Dj Shadow for a drink at the next pub? Perry Rodan records in writing for that extra trash factor, and Terry Gilliam adds up some cinematographic finishing? This clash in time, space and style seems self evident.
Vienna based producer Dj Buzz managed to turn this rather fictional and fantastic meeting into a brilliant journey in sound and vision. A multimedia remix voyage per excellence.
Buzz took original samples from an old US- italo science fiction movie, joining the soundscapes and movieflics to a simply outstanding masterpiece entitled “Cosmic War Of The Planets”. On record as on stage, this rumpus features viennese future funk expert Dorian Concept, the musician & producer duo “Twintowas” and Dj Chris Fader, as well as Detroit´s finest Frank Nitty on the 7″ release “Stardust“. The viennese design studio „Ichiban” takes credits for editing the videos plus the Dvd, that comes along with the lovely designed LP (artwork by franke).

Few peops amongst might have seen Dj Buzz´ new multimedia project “Cosmic War Of The Planets” live at the Soundframe Preview Party end of last year in Vienna, featuring the Twintowas, Chrisfader & Dorian Concept.
In April 2009 the official Soundframe festival started in its second round and so did various exhibtions, of course featuring this wicked multimedia movie remix project.
Dj Buzz just got back from Cologne, after signing each and every of the 888 limited vinyls. the official release on Personal Records is scheduled for the 3rd of July.

Am 27.3. startet das Soundframe Festival um 19:00 mit einer Vernissage im Künstlerhaus k/haus. Es erwarten euch atemberaubende audio-visuelle Rauminstallationen und Videoarbeiten internationaler KünstlerInnen.Nach der offiziellen Eröffnung und speziellen audio:visuellen Live Performances von: MXZehn, luma.launisch & Gabriel Kogler sowie einer Live Street Art Performance wird ab 22:00 in der Ausstellung mit einer DJ Line Floriano & Philipp LHeritier (fenchelstyle) und deep.annick weitergefeiert.
Dj Buzz, der bereits bei der Soundframe Preview Party sein fulminantes Video / Audio Remix Spektakel namens “Dj Buzz & The Cosmic War Of The Planets” uraufgeführt hat, ist beim Soundframe Festival mit einer Ausstellung zu seinem neuen Projekt vertreten. Die in Zusammenarbeit mit Personal Records realisierte DVD wird neben Originalskizzen und Leinwänden auf einer eigenen Austellungsfläche präsentiert und dokumentiert.Die LP incl. DVD ist in knapp einem Monat erhältlich, dazu könnt ihr ja dann vor Ort mit dem Meister plaudern!
Wer Cosmic War Of The Planets damals nicht live erleben konnte, hat hier die Möglichkeit einen kleinen Eindruck zu gewinnen! Don´t miss this one!!!!

Am 12.12.2008 präsentiert sound:frame, das Festival zur Visualisierung elektronischer Musik in seiner neuen LIVE Partner-Location, dem brut im Künstlerhaus, das Programm für sound:frame 2009 (27. März - 26. April 2009 im Künstlerhaus k/haus) und gibt mit der anschließenden Party einen Vorgeschmack auf das kommende sound:frame Festival 2009.
Ganz im Zeichen von EVOLUTION REMIXED! präsentiert DJ Buzz (Waxolutionists, Wien) seine Premiere von “Cosmic War Of The Planets”.
Mit diesem audio-visuellen REMIX-Projekt lädt DJ Buzz auf eine Reise durch die Soundscapes und Movieflics des 1978 erschienenen, gleichnamigen Science Ficton Films “War Of The Planets”. Die fulminante Screen & Stage Live Show wird von DJ Buzz, dem Musiker Duo Twintowas, DJ Chrisfader & Dorian Concept in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Design Studio Ichiban umgesetzt und versetzt das Publikum zurück in die Zukunft von 1978. Das neue Projekt wird Anfang 2009 auf Personal Records releast.
